WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAY!

A LESSON LEARNED - If you lend a person $20 and you never see that person again it was probably worth it!
REMEMBER - Experience is something you don't get until after you need it!

THE AFTERMATH OF THE MASSACHUSETTS MIRACLE
When former Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakus ran for president, the Massachusetts Miracle was referred to the clean up of the rivers and bay that adorn the city of Boston. As we all know, Governor Dukakis lost the election in a landslide, winning only his home state. Which by the way Al Gore did not do, costing him the presidency and creating the Florida hanging chad war.
Today the Massachusetts miracle is referred to the victory by a Republican in the race for a the vacant Senate seat of Ted Kennedy. Lets see what this "miracle" created!
We now know that the Democrats had a bad candidate, they always blame the candidate, who was hand picked. They also did not get their story across, even with $650,000 spent on the final week end by SEIU and a personal visit by The President, who used the wrong name when referring to the candidate.
The why really is not important, the result is! This "Miracle" stopped the folly known as the Obama health care plan in it's tracks. It woke up the Democratic leaders to the fact that it may not be "business as usual" in November for their old timers. Although a long shot, this may be a one term President. By the way, we have never had an effective one term President!!!
The Massachusetts Miracle forced The President to take time from bowing to nobodies and visit with the Republican congressional caucus. You would have thought that he would have used a conciliatory tone, or held out a hand of cooperation. Not this President, although he did admit that the right had some ideas they were still just blocking history.
I do give him credit for taking a few (6) questions, but answering none. When all was said and done, the time could have better been used perfecting his genuflect for future fascist visitors.
HE DOES NOT SPEND TIME WATCHING CABLE TV!
At a recent White House briefing the press secretary was asked what the President thought of comments made by two "anchors" on MSNBC. They were, to say the least condescending and bordered on worship. The press secretaries answer was "The President does not spend time watching cable TV". HMMMMM! if that is the case how come he comments regularly on what is said about him on FOX News?
Back to the fire place and warm milk. Only 2 weeks until pitchers and catchers report to spring training!!!
